Antenne Yagi-Uda. [Ses] éléments sont métalliques et de forme cylindrique ou parallélépipédique. Ils sont fixés sur un support qui peut être métallique ou isolant. Dans le premier cas les deux moitiés du dipôle doivent être découplées du support par des rondelles isolantes. L'excitation du dipôle se faisant par câble coaxial, possède un transformateur d'impédance (appelé parfois balun) transformant une excitation dissymétrique à l'entrée en une excitation symétrique au niveau du dipôle. Ceci permet d'obtenir une bonne caractéristique d'adaptation.
